Measuring Solid-State Battery Electrode Expansion in situ with the CompreDrive

A recent publication describes an investigation into the usage of InLi as a counter electrode in solid-state battery (SSB) research, using the CompreDrive to quantify the height changes as an effect of lithium insertion/extraction during cycling.

Exhibiting at the International Bunsen Discussion Meeting on Solid-State Batteries VI (13th – 15th November 2024)

We are exhibiting again. Meet our colleagues and products at the International Bunsen Discussion Meeting on Solid-State Batteries VI (SSB VI) from 13th – 15th November 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany. See you there.

New Publication: Si Nanowire All-Solid-State Battery

In a recently published paper in Batteries & Supercaps, the CompreFrame was used to monitor pressure changes during the cycling of Si nanowire/InLi all-solid-state battery cells.

Exhibiting at the 5th International Sodium Battery Symposium in Berlin (23rd – 25th September 2024)

Meet our colleagues and products at the 5th International Sodium Battery Symposium (SBS-5) from 23rd – 25th September 2024 in Berlin, Germany. See you there!

Distinguishing Bulk and Grain Boundary Conductivity in Solid Electrolytes

An elastic model was used to assign the measured ionic conductivity to either the bulk or grain boundaries of some solid electrolytes, using the dependence of the pelletization pressure on the porosity and conductivity..

Mapping Pouch Cell Pressure Distribution in Operando: CompreCell Pouch × TekScan sensor

The pressure distribution on a pouch cell in the CompreCell Pouch was monitored online using a TekScan pressure mapping sensor. The pouch cell was cycled under constant volume and constant pressure conditions.
