Solid-State Battery Characterization with OrigaFlex + CompreDrive

We demonstrate the use of a true reference electrode for solid-state batteries (based on partially reduced LTO) to characterize a lithium metal solid-state cell in the CompreDrive with a dilatometer setup. The coupling with an OrigaFlex potentiostat to automate the measurements is described.

In a new publication, Xu et al. studied the origins of soft short circuits by lithium dendrite growth in solid electrolytes, using pressure monitoring in the CompreFrame and the three-electrode CompreCell DP.
