Typical applications
The rhd Cooling Box has been designed as a supporting tool for the Microcell HC setup. It reduces the dew point of the direct environment and avoids ice formation at the test cells – so temperatures below -30 °C can be reached even for long-term measurements!
Determination of the temperature-dependent conductivity of liquid, gel-like, polymeric, and solid electrolytes
Performing temperature-dependent cyclic voltammetry measurements
Charging/discharging of batteries and supercaps at different temperatures

Detailed Description
The rhd Cooling Box is designed to allow the Peltier element of the Microcell HC cell fixture to cool the sample to the lowest possible temperatures by lowering the ambient temperature and lowering the dew point to avoid ice formation.
It consists of a cooling box cabinet with enough space to place one Microcell HC setup, a temperature controlling unit to set min. and max. temperature values, and a cable feedthrough providing all cables being necessary for operating the Microcell HC setup.
